Before entering law school, Jimmy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating cum laude. He also pursued a minor in Business Administration, achieving honors such as being on the Dean’s List and receiving the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Scholarship. Jimmy’s pursuit of excellence extended beyond academics, as he actively engaged in the MTSU Wrestling Club.

Andrew H. Williamson

Andrew H. Williamson is a Jackson, Tennessee native who moved to Memphis in 2015 to attend law school. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a concentration in International Business. After graduating in 2013, he entered the financial advising profession, before electing to go to law school at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

Professional Expertise

During his tenure at Memphis Law, Mr. Williamson actively participated as a member of the Moot Court Board and was also recognized by the Tenneseee Supreme Court as a Law Student for Justice following his 1L year, an honor recognizing law students for providing at least 50 hours of pro bono services annually to those who cannot afford legal costs. Moreover, he was a member of the Elder Law Legal Clinic during his 2L year, where he provided legal services to elderly and indigent persons while under the supervision of a licensed attorney.

On top of his involvement in extracurricular activities, Mr. Williamson externed for the City of Memphis and served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge Edward G. Bryant of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. He also received academic recognition when he was honored and awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in International Business Transactions. He graduated from Memphis Law in 2018.

Outside of work, Mr. Williamson enjoys spending time with his loving wife, Claire, and their young son, Landon. He also enjoys spending time and taking walks with his dog, Rosie, a West Highland White Terrier. A competitive tennis player, Mr. Williamson is also a member of the University Club of Memphis, where he regularly plays in club tennis tournaments, as well as USTA-sanctioned matches.
